Doré joins Maison Mujō

Maison Mujō welcomes Doré, a nomadic singer-songwriter whose studio travels with him — a van somewhere between France and Spain, windows open to the road.

You can’t talk about Doré without talking about travel. He found his voice young, as a kind of medicinal instrument; the guitar came first, companion of campfires and encounters, then the voice — a deeper line to spirit and the invisible. Years on the move, from India to the Amazon, shaped the rest.

His new EP Whisper gathers five tracks that cross folk and cinematic trip-hop — velvet voice, guitar, harmonium and electronic arrangements. Selkie is a tribute to his daughter; Whisper evokes the invisible, a mystical word carried on rustling leaves; I Become speaks of the grace found through experience and connection.

This musical path he signs simply Doré — his first name, a natural signature to his origins.
